ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi held an event on "Promotion and publication of Nizami Ganjavi in Turkey"The event was opened by ANAS Vice-President, Director of the Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi, Academician Isa Habibbayli.. The event was attended by Yagub Omeroglu, editor-in-chief of the "Brotherly Pens" magazine published in Turkey, Rashad Majid, editor-in-chief of the "525th newspaper" and other intellectuals. He said that, the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated January 5, 2021 on declaring 2021 the "Year of Nizami Ganjavi" many important issues were implemented.
Rashad Majid, Deputy Chairman of the Writers' Union of Azerbaijan and Editor-in-Chief of the 525th Newspaper, noted that today is a day of meeting and awarding Yagub Omeroglu, a well-known literary figure and publisher of the Turkic world. When we talk about the future development of literary and cultural relations in the Turkic world, we mention Yagub Omeroglu. "Brotherly Pens" journal has been doing great work for almost fifteen years in uniting the literature of the whole Turkic world. It is a great honor to award him with the Honorary Order of the Academy, it is a tribute to your work”.
At the end, Tahmina Badalova, an employee of the Department of Legal Studies, recited poems by Nizami Ganjavi.
