Kamal Abdulla -70

The essence of postmodernism is the text and the perception of the hyperreal world it presents. The postmodern text is based on other texts and contains archetypal signs and quotations from previous literary examples and myths. If it is possible to say so, the postmodern text is a meta-text with traces of the previous heritage and requires encyclopedic knowledge and a broad outlook from the reader. Prof. According to Gorkhmaz Guliyev, "postmodernism, formed in the second half of the last century, is a complex of philosophical, epistemological, scientific-theoretical, aesthetic ideas that demonstrate the qualities of mobility, flexibility, adaptation to an unprecedented" environment "depending on the history, social and national contexts."In this sense, postmodernism primarily serves to reveal a certain mentality, man's place and role in the world, as well as his ability to understand the world.Philosophical-aesthetic categories and peculiar elements of postmodernism are clearly followed in Azerbaijani literature as well. In this context, it should be noted that the work of Kamal Abdullah is particularly different. It is in Kamal Abdulla's work that postmodern aesthetics is more prominent and attractive. For this reason, Kamal Abdulla's texts and Kamal Abdulla's line are leading in Azerbaijani postmodern literature. Academician Isa Habibbayli also notes that "during the years of independence, the tendencies of postmodernism developed and expanded and became a literary trend. Kamal Abdulla is the creator of the literary trend of postmodernism in Azerbaijani literature".
