The great Nizami Ganjavi's "Khamsa" created a new and original tradition in Azerbaijani and Eastern literature. In the literary community, being able to write on Nizami topics was considered a master's exam, and the "Khamsa" tradition continued for centuries. The poets and poet-masters who were the successors of Nizami Ganjavi, along with continuing the literary tradition of the great thinker, from time to time presented the themes, plots and archetypes from his works in a new guise.
