The monograph "The image of Nizami Ganjavi in fiction" by the senior researcher of the Nizami Ganjavi Center of ANAS Ganja Division, PhD in Philology Alimukhtar Mukhtarov has been published.
The monograph was published by the decision of the Presidium of ANAS Ganja Division within the framework of "Nizami Ganjavi Year".
The scientific editor of the publication is the vice-president of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbayli, the scientific adviser and the author of the extensive "Foreword" is Academician Nizami Jafarov. The reviewers of the book are Professor Khalil Yusifli, leading researcher of the Department of Regular Studies of ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Zahra Allahverdiyeva and Konul Nehmatova, Head of the Institute of Professional Development of Educators of the Ministry of Education.
The monograph is devoted to the study of the artistic features of the image of the poet in all genres of literature.
It is very difficult to find a second thinker in the history of Azerbaijani literature, as well as in the history of world literature, who was revived as an image in fiction and written about as much as Nizami Ganjavi. This is due to the love of our people for the great Azerbaijani Nizami Ganjavi.
All poems, stories, poems, novels and plays written about the great thinker in the Azerbaijani literature from the Middle Ages to the present day have been researched and analyzed.
Written with reference to more than 200 sources, the monograph is an important research work not only for literary critics, but also for specialists in history, linguistics, philosophy and the humanities in general.
