The genre poetics of stories little has been studied. The question of the genetic origin of this type of stories is still unclear.In literary criticism, variable and sometimes contradictory opinions have been put forward about the genre specificity of short stories and the variety of plots. There is a signature in modern Israeli storytelling called Etgar Keret and his collection of 4 stories so far provides rich material for research in this regard.There is a common misconception that it is doubtful that a prose writer who does not begin his work with a story should write novels, in the sense that it is always questionable and unacceptable for the environment to suddenly try his pen in large genres....
