The period of independence is characterized by the active participation of science writer, first of all, the literary works of the national writer, academician Kamal Abdulla, who has been identified as the main creator of postmodern literature in Azerbaijani literature.
More precisely, Kamal Abdulla, who has proved himself on both sides of scientific thinking, has also confirmed in his original works that scientific thought is the second most important breath for the development of literature.
