Volume V of the series "Library of Azerbaijani emigrant literature" founded by the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences - "Works" by Alazan Bayja has been published by "Science and Education" publishing house. The book was published by the decision of the minutes of the meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute No. 4 dated June 17, 2021.
The book includes poems, verses, translations from German poetry and examples from the letters of Alazan Bayja (1913-1989), a relatively little representative of Azerbaijani emigrant literature. The literary heritage of the emigrant poet is published in the form of a book for the first time in his homeland.
The editor-in-chief of the series is the vice-president of ANAS, the general director of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi, academician Isa Habibbayli. The compiler of the volume, the author of the foreword and notes is Doctor of Philology Nikpur Jabbarli, and the editor-in-chief is Doctor of Philosophy in Philology Abid Tahirli.
At present, the Institute is working on the next volumes of the series "Library of Azerbaijani emigrant literature."
