The next issue (2024, No. 2) of the journal “Philology and Art Studies”, a scientific journal of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, has been published. The journal publishes scientific research works in the fields of literary studies, history of Azerbaijani literature, literary theory, comparative literary studies, folklore studies, linguistics, art studies, press history and journalism in the field of humanities.
The editor-in-chief of the scientific journal “Philology and Art Studies” is the President of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli. This issue of the journal opens with the article “Historical meeting of Heydar Aliyev with the academic staff and the issue of the status of the Academy” by academician Isa Habibbeyli.
The deputies of the editor-in-chief are corresponding member of ANAS Ertegin Salamzade and doctor of philology Alizade Asgarli. The editorial board includes a number of academicians and corresponding members of ANAS. The editor-in-chief of the journal is Maral Poladova.
This issue of the journal, published by the “Elm” publishing house, consists of the sections “Literary Studies”, “Journalism”, “Linguistics”, “Art Studies” and “Jubilee”. “Guide” is in Azerbaijani and English.
The international editorial board of the journal “Philology and Art Studies” includes scientists from Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Poland and Georgia.
It should be noted that the founder of the journal is the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and it was registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 30.05.2019. The journal was published under the name “News” (Humanities series) until 2019.
