The next issue of the journal "Cultural Azerbaijan" ("Kültürel Azerbaycan") published in Istanbul on the basis of a project of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center under our embassy in Turkey, is dedicated to the great Azerbaijani poet, prominent representative of the literature of the Turkic world Muhammad Fuzuli.
The journal, which opened with an article on the Decree of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev "On the celebration of the 530th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet Muhammad Fuzuli", gave special attention to the phrase "Muhammad Fuzuli is the pride of the history of Azerbaijani literature and culture" mentioned by our head of state in the document.
The journal "Cultural Azerbaijan" published articles by Fuzuli scholars from both countries, including academician Rafael Huseynov, professors Ataemi Mirzayev, Lala Alizadeh, Mahira Huseynova, Turkish professors Cemal Kurnaz, Mustafa Ise, Ismet Cetin and others.
The articles emphasized the contributions of the great poet's creativity to the literature of the Turkic world and its importance.
The Azerbaijan Cultural Center plans to donate copies of the journal, published in both print and electronic formats, to leading libraries and scientific research institutions in Turkey.
It should be noted that, based on the project initiated by the Azerbaijan Cultural Center on the occasion of the 530th anniversary of the birth of the great Azerbaijani poet Muhammad Fuzuli, a scientific symposium and an artistic and musical composition were organized at Gazi University in Turkey last year, and a book titled "Fuzuli Divan" was prepared in Turkish and presented to the general public at the XXI Ankara Book Fair.
