A new book by literary critic, Doctor of Philology and Member of the Milli Majlis Elnara Akimova entitled “Azerbaijani Children's Literature: Historical Experience and Modern Directions” has been published.
The scientific editor and author of the foreword to the book, published by the “Science and Education” publishing house, is the President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, and the reviewers are Azer Turan, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Editor-in-Chief of the “Literature Newspaper”, and Aygun Bagirli, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology.
The book summarizes the historical experience of Azerbaijani children's literature in the context of contemporary humanitarian thought - its formation, emergence and development.
