The sacred being with the power to heal and restore nature is Man. The desire to take care of the place where humanity lives is being renewed. Eco-initiatives emerging from destroyed cities become symbols of hope that a new world is possible. Thus, the forests that survived the storms are filled with life again, and people find a common language with nature, learn to respect its rhythms, using the forces of recovery. As the poet said, "man's desire comes to the earth..." (Samad Vurgun).

Nature displays its secret capabilities amid the ferocious whirlwind of battle, as though it is watching human wars. Natural scenes of the soil affected by the explosions remind us of devastation and ruins because they have lost their purity. Brotherly unity gives way to alienation and suspicion, and centuries-old societal systems fall apart under the weight of strain and hostility. However, despite all of this turmoil, nature is the only thing that is true. Notwithstanding our impulses, nature carries on with its endless cycle of existence. The forests that once provided refuge to humanity are now seeing its demise. Let's leave the river, which was once a source of life and transcends all boundaries, to see people who are split along ideological and aggressive lines as they strike for peace.

However, a civilisation that is on the verge of collapse finds the fortitude to reconsider and reinvent itself. Every disagreement turns into a teaching moment, and every setback becomes a cause for reflection. As a result, fresh hopes are sprouting like flowers from asphalt cracks against a backdrop of grey sky and barren plains.

An alliance between man and nature arises in this paradoxical place, Earth, where peace and violence coexist in tense quiet. As man becomes aware of his frailty, he starts to find comfort in the earth's embrace. It seems as though the breezes rustling through the trees are calling him back to his roots, where stories of harmony and peace predate hostility. It teaches us to listen to the voice of the Earth, our planet, which still possesses the knowledge of the past despite its scars and suffering.

Through political and military measures, Mighty Azerbaijan was able to regain its geographical integrity and historical justice throughout the 44-day conflict. We reached Karabakh on November 8, 2020, which was the Great Victory Day. Our natural reserves, including Karagöl, Basitchay, Gubadli, Lachin, and Dashalti, were the targets of environmental terrorism during the occupation period, and their rehabilitation became an outstanding obligation.

"On measures related to the creation of a "green energy" zone in the territories freed from occupation of the Republic of Azerbaijan" according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 2620 dated May 3, 2021. is to provide environmentally clean green energy and formulate proposals by examining the prospects of application of environmentally friendly and energy efficient green technologies. For this, the energy demand models of the areas were developed by applying different scenarios.

Azerbaijan, a traditional energy exporter, has been actively working on the transition to green energy in recent years. The declaration of Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions, as well as Nakhchivan as a "green energy zone" and the steps taken in this direction give Azerbaijan prestige in the international arena.

By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 25, 2023, 2024 was declared the "Green World Solidarity Year" in the Republic of Azerbaijan. COP-29, dedicated to the fight against global climate change and considered the most prestigious international event to be held in Azerbaijan in the "Green World Solidarity Year", will be addressed to the world from Baku this time. In the coming days, the capital of Azerbaijan, the kingdom of black gold, the city of conquerors of the sea, Baku, will open its doors to tens of thousands of participants who will travel to discuss the future of our planet from the perspective of climate change.

In light of contemporary scientific, theoretical, economic, and political thought, Neft Baku's humanitarian mission will push for ecological and green peace on a global scale. "Now, if we humans do not destroy each other, maybe in 40-50 years, oil will be needed only for medicine," says academician Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh, an oilman and geologist. To put it another way, there will be so many new alternative energy sources and technologies that perhaps oil will only be used for medical purposes. The fact that Sabir Chopuroglu, an oil painter who creates stunning images, incorporates his humanitarian work into his paintings—considering "oil as the paint of the 21st century"—is no accident. The role of the oil factor in the foundation of socio-economic and ecological triumphs gains fresh meaning as Azerbaijan's oil and gas resources, which are in search of new alternative techniques and energy, broaden the country's integration into global structures.

"COP 29 will give a lot not only to Azerbaijan but to the whole world," as MP Elnara Akimova, a PhD of philological sciences, correctly observes. It suffices that they have a positive outlook on the world's future and are receptive to mutual gain. In the framework of climate security, COP29 is a forum that examines global security from an environmental perspective. It will be extremely important to hold this event in order to supply green energy to the planet. Our state appeals to international leaders to stand together for the sake of a greener planet, not for the purpose of blood, tears, and deaths. This esteemed occasion is a triumph for Azerbaijan and a remarkable event in terms of re-presenting its humanitarian image to the globe.

Humanity must rebuild its planet by gradually but steadily resolving the series of mistakes, one by one, while imprisoned by the transient darkness. Nature will therefore try to re-establish a connection with mankind during the GOP-29 days that will take place in Baku, and humanity will be called upon to open the door to understanding and unity.

“Qaynar çeşmələri duru saxlamaq,

İşığı qorumaq, nuru saxlamaq,

Torpağın ruhunu diri saxlamaq

İnsanın ən böyük cavabdehliyi,

Bəşərin ən böyük dərdi-səridi.

– Təbiət Allahın şah əsəridi!” (Zəlimxan Yaqub)
