ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi held a presentation of the book "Indelible Footprint" dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Huseyn Kurdoglu poet and orientalist scientist.
The chairman of the Press Council, the editor-in-chief of "525th newspaper" Rashad Majid, employees of the Institute of Literature, science and culture figures, family members of the writer and well-known public representatives attended the event.
Professor Gazanfar Pashayev, senior researcher of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature, opened the event and told that Huseyn Kurdoglu is one of the outstanding personalities in the history of Azerbaijani literature, and commented on the position of the talented poet in the world of science and literature. He said that Huseyn Kurdoglu, whose memory we gathered today, is a student of Samad Vurgun poetry school. He worked at the Institute of Literature for a long time until the end of his life.
Professor Gazanfar Pashayev said that Huseyn Kurdoglu, who is the author of many poems glorifying the beauty of nature, was originally from Ahmadli village of Lachin district and recited a stanza from the poet's poem "White Violet". He emphasized that Huseyn Kurdoglu brought a new breath to the stale genre, and said that the poet wrote his poems mainly in the spirit of love for the Motherland, Karabakh, love, nature and beauty.
"Huseyn Kurdoglu was one of the reliable residents of the constant contact and bridges between our classical poetry and love poetry and modern poetry," said professor Gazanfar Pashayev, noting that the writer is the only poet who wrote a poem about love in Azerbaijan.
Professor Gazanfar Pashayev said that Huseyn Kurdoglu dedicated a poem to him, and pointed out that he wrote a monograph on the poet's work.
He also gave information about the book "Indelible Footprint" that was presented to the public and said that the publication included scientific and journalistic articles and memoirs written in different years about the life and creative path of Huseyn Kurdoglu. Academician Isa Habibbayli, president of ANAS, wrote a "Foreword" entitled "Useful Example in Literary Studies", and also the article of 7 employees of the Institute of Literature was published in the book.
The Chairman of the Press Council and the editor-in-chief of "525-ci Gazet" Rashad Majid said in his speech that he read with interest the memories of academicians Teymur Bunyadov and Bekir Nabiyev, corresponding member of ANAS Yashar Garayev and others about Huseyn Kurdoglu in the book "Imprints from Unerasable Words". He said that the soul of Huseyn Kurdoglu, who had written numerous poems with the pain of the years without Lachin, Shusha, and Agdam, was happy with the liberation of our native lands from occupation.
"My green, my green, where are you going?" within the framework of the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World". Rashad Majid, who said that they intend to publish a book, said that Huseyn Kurdoglu's poems about nature will be included in the book.
Later, doctors of philology Sara Osmanli, Vagif Yusifli, Esmira Fuad, doctor of history Güllü Yoloğlu, professor Asif Rustamli, doctors of philosophy Gunay Garayeva, Mehman Hasanli and Ilham Mammadli, editor-in-chief of "Azerbaijan" magazine Intigam Gasimzade, well-known poet Musa Alakbarli. , honored journalist Adil Jamil and others spoke about various aspects of the writer's scientific and literary creativity and shared their memories of Huseyn Kurdoglu.
In the end, his son Ilham Alyshanli, speaking on behalf of the poet's family, expressed his gratitude to the management of the Institute of Literature and the participants for organizing the event.
