On October 14, Azerbaijan Press Council held a meeting devoted to the 75th anniversary of veteran journalist Maral Poladova.
Rashad Majid, Chairman of the Central Council opened the event and drew attention to some points in the biography of the jubilee journalist. He said that M. Poladova, who was born in Goranboy district in 1949, after graduating from high school in 1966, worked as a proofreader in the editorial office of "Mubariz" newspaper published in the district for the next two years, and studied at the journalism faculty of Baku State University in 1968-1973. got it.
He pointed out that M. Poladova worked as a chief laboratory assistant at the Manuscripts Fund in 1980-1983, from that time he began to cooperate with the editors of "Science and Life" magazine, and from July 1983 he was hired as a reporter for the magazine and said that The jubilee pen holder worked as a literary worker and chief literary worker in the publication until 1995, and since 1995 he has been the responsible secretary of the magazine.
The chairman of the Council of Ministers said that M. Poladova's book "Traces of Life" published in 2004 consists of a part of her writings published in "Science and Life" magazine, where she worked. Since 1984, M.Poladova, who has been the editor of dozens of books published in "Science and Life" publishing house, has been a member of the Union of Journalists of Azerbaijan.
R. Majid also said that M. Poladova was awarded numerous prizes for the materials she prepared on the study, preservation and restoration of historical architectural monuments of Azerbaijan. He also listed various exemplary aspects of the veteran journalist's creativity and shared his memories. The Chairman of the Council presented the diploma of the institution he heads to M.Poladova.

Poladova as a hardworking, principled and sensitive writer, a true friend and comrade, and conveyed their congratulations and shared their memories.
Speaking at the end, the jubilee journalist thanked the participants of the meeting for their work and the value given to their life.
