According to the plan of events prepared based on the order "On the celebration of the 530th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet Muhammad Fuzuli" signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the textbook "On the teaching of the life and creativity of Muhammad Fuzuli in secondary schools" was published by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.
The co-authors of the new edition are the eminent phuseologist, doctor of philological sciences, professor Lala Alizade and the well-known literary critic, doctor of philological sciences, associate professor Azizagha Najafzade. The scientific editor of the book and the author of the foreword is Mahira Huseynova, vice-rector for international relations of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, doctor of philology, Honored teacher of the Republic of Azerbaijan, academician of the International Academy of Sciences, World "Word" Academy and Turan Academy of Sciences. The reviewers are Academician of the International Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Vugar Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Philology of ADPU, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Konul Hasanova, and Vusala Jalilova, a teacher of Azerbaijani language and literature of the 7th secondary school after A.Salimov, Khachmaz city.
This book, which examines the methods and means of teaching the life and creativity of the great Azerbaijani poet Muhammad Fuzuli in secondary schools, was prepared as a textbook on the methodology of teaching literature in the philology faculty of higher schools and as a methodical tool intended to facilitate the work of teachers during the teaching of the subject of literature in the VIII and X classes of secondary schools.
In the textbook published by the "Science and Education" publishing house, the modern pedagogical approach to the heritage of Muhammad Fuzuli, the preparation of methodical materials for teaching the poet's works in secondary schools and the technologies of their use, and the appeal to Fuzuli's creativity in the lower classes of secondary schools became the subject of discussion.
It should be noted that the author of the Fuzuli portrait on the cover of the book is the People's Artist Azim Azimzadeh.
