A book of poems by Mahdimgulu Faragi was presented within the framework of the Baku International Book Fair

On October 7, within the framework of the 10th Baku International Book Fair, the presentation ceremony of the book of poems "I fell in love" by the great Turkmen poet Mahdimgulu Faragi was held.

Literary experts, fans of the poet, journalists, etc. attended the presentation ceremony. participated.

At the ceremony, a member of Azerbaijan Writers' Union, President's scholar, poet, essayist Farid Huseyn spoke about the deep meanings and lyricism of M. Faragi's work. It was said that M. Faragi presents deep thoughts about the power of literature and its influence on the human soul in his poems, and at the same time, he introduces the rich heritage of Turkmen literature to a wider audience.

F. Huseyn sang selected poems from the poet's book. It was noted that these poems have a unique style that skillfully expresses love and separation.

At the event, Aktotı Raimkulova, president of the Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation, shared her thoughts about the poet's work. He noted that M. Faragi's poems are the pearl of Turkmen literature and emphasized that the poet's works occupy a special place in both Turkmen and world literature. A. Raimkulova expressed how M. Faragi's creativity is important not only in terms of literature, but also in the development of culture. At the same time, he said that such events help to recognize and spread literature and cultural heritage.

A. Raimkulova said that the 300th anniversary of the genius M. Faragi is widely celebrated in Turkmenistan, an integral part of the Turkic world, in Turkic countries and throughout the world by UNESCO: "The Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation also expresses its deep respect for the dear memory of the genius poet with this book that you hold in your hands. does. Unfortunately, Ramiz Asgar, a prominent Turkologist and translator of the book, did not see the publication of this book. Once again, I offer my deepest condolences to his family. One of the main missions of the Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation, which has gained a reputation in the international world, is the promotion of the science and literary creativity of the outstanding personalities of the Turkic world. In this direction, the Fund established the book series "Prominent personalities of the Turkish world", "Pearls of Turkish literature", "Scientific pearls of the Turkish world". M. Faragi's book was published from the "Pearls of Turkish Literature" series. I believe that this book, published in Azerbaijani and Turkmen languages, will contribute to bringing the Turkic people closer together."

Then, the ambassador of Turkmenistan to our country, Gurbanmammet Elyasov, spoke about the role of the poet's work in Turkmen culture. He noted that M. Faragi's works take a person on a journey to his inner world and nourish the readers' souls. The ambassador expressed the importance of implementing joint projects in order to connect the literature and culture of Turkmenistan more closely with Azerbaijan.

Professor of the Department of Turkology of Baku State University, Doctor of Philology Firuza Aghayeva, who was awarded the gold medal of the Republic of Turkmenistan for her services in the development of literary relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmen peoples, spoke at the presentation ceremony. Alim emphasized that M. Faragi's work occupies an exceptional place in both Azerbaijani and Turkmen literature.

The professor said that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan in the field of literature, culture and language existed historically, and the importance of such measures for further strengthening of these relations. He drew attention to the fact that M. Faragi's works are not only an example of literature, but also a cultural bridge between two nations.

F.Agayeva noted that it is necessary to do more work in the field of researching and promoting the creativity of masters like M.Faraghi. At the same time, he emphasized the importance of the participation of young researchers, literary experts and specialists in the development of relations between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.

PhD in Philology Ismikhan Osmanli and others emphasized in their speeches that M. Faragi's poems are a symbol of Turkmen culture and literature, and his creativity plays the role of a bridge between the two peoples. They also pointed out that M. Faragi's poems masterfully reflect the complexity of the human soul, and this makes him a unique artist. Attention was drawn to the uniqueness of M. Faragi's poetic language, as well as its importance for contemporary researchers.
