The presentation ceremony of the next project of the "Yenisi" Center for Literary and Cultural Manifestations Public Union - the book "Iravan Agenda" was held.
The book contains literary texts written by classical and modern Azerbaijani authors about the historical city of Yerevan, including the Khanate of Yerevan.
The president of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli, wrote in his opinion on the book that the "Iravan Diary" is the "Iravanname" of the era of independence.
Project expert, corresponding member of ANAS, Tehran Alishanoglu in his article on "Iravan concept in literature" wrote about the book and emphasized the necessity of enriching the publication with new texts in the future and the emergence of new researches in this direction.
The project leader who prepared the book, the writer Mejal Nur said that he believes that the "Iravan Diary" will be accessible to foreign experts and will stimulate deeper scientific and cultural research.
Other speakers said that in the "Iravan Agenda" project, for the first time, the concept of Iravan was highlighted separately in the literature, and it was covered in a systematic way, by stages.
The publication was prepared in accordance with the spirit of President Ilham Aliyev's call to the Concept of Return. The author of all paintings and graphic elements used in the compilation of "Iravan Diary" is Mirza Gadim Iravani, an Azerbaijani portraitist and ornamental artist who lived in the 19th century.
It should be noted that the project was developed with the financial assistance of the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
