Doctor of philological sciences, professor Mammadhasan Gambarli passed away.
Mammadhasan Gambarli was born in 1935 in Ardabil, Iran. He graduated from Baku State University, majoring in Arabic philology.
The deceased worked as a senior researcher at the Nizami Institute of Literature of ANAS. Along with his scientific activity, he also showed pedagogical activity. M. Gambarli worked as an Arabic language teacher at the Baku Turkish High School.
He is the author of more than 10 books and more than 100 articles.
