On June 10, a scientific-creative conference on "Literary process - 2023" was held at the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of ANAS.
Academician Isa Habibbayli, president of ANAS, director of the Institute of Literature, secretary of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union, poet and translator Salim Babullaoglu, literary scholars, media representatives and others took part in the event.

Academician Isa Habibbeyli, the president of ANAS, director of the Institute of Literature, who opened the event with his opening speech, said that holding the "Literary Process" scientific-creative conference has already become a tradition. noted the importance of the event in terms of development. He evaluated the "Literary Process" meetings as a responsible report of writers and critics engaged in the literary process, and said that these events serve the development of our literature and the enrichment of our literary studies.
Academician Isa Habibbeyli reminded that the 10th anniversary of the "Literary Process" scientific-creative conference was organized last year in the Natavan Club and pointed out that in fact, with that event, the 10th anniversary of the literary period covered by literary process conferences was celebrated: "The independence In 2014, we resumed the "Literary Process" scientific-creative meetings, which were organized occasionally in 2014. The literature of 2013 was mentioned in the literary process of 2014. Thus, last year, the 10th anniversary of the involvement of the literary period in the literary process was celebrated."
He said that, based on his observations during 10 years, reviews of the history of Azerbaijani literature of the period of independence were written at the "Literary Process" meetings, and emphasized that the scientific-creative meetings created revival in science and literature. He noted that the "Literary Process" deliberations also played the role of a solid bridge between the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS and the Institute of Literature, and further expanded the relations between the press and the institute.
The head of ANAS said that after the creative meetings, the employees of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi started to work more actively in the media. Reports from the "Literary Process" meetings are regularly published in "525th newspaper", "Edabiyyat newspaper", "Ulduz" and "Azerbaijan" magazines, as well as in other media.
"The literature of 2023 can be called the literature of integrity," said academician Isa Habibbayli, emphasizing that the literature that welcomes and glorifies the great historical victory achieved in 2020 under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, will understand it in the following years. tried to do, and finally on September 19, 2023, during the local anti-terrorist measures carried out by the Azerbaijani Army in Karabakh, the complete protection of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and the waving of our State Flag in all our territories began to show the essence, philosophy, and reality of the victories won in literature. At the end of his speech, Academician Isa Habibbayli said that the "Literary Process" meetings are aimed at systematic analysis of the literary process, deep understanding of literary life and help in general preparation, as well as creating a foundation for the training of specialized critics.
Then the secretary of the AYB, Salim Babullaoglu, made a speech and emphasized the importance of holding "Literary process" meetings in terms of creating sources, systematizing what is happening and having a reporting nature. He especially thanked Academician Isa Habibbeyli for his support in organizing and holding creative meetings at a high level.
Salim Babullaoglu, who gave information about the history and activities of the "World Literature" magazine, a publication of AYB, drew attention to the fact that numerous articles of the Institute of Literature employees were published in the said magazine. He also spoke about the duties and principles of literary criticism and said that literary criticism is professional criticism. Salim Babullaoglu wished success to the work of this year's "Literary Process".
