Salida Sharifova's monograph "Leyla Aliyeva's Poetic World" was published in "Science and Education" publishing house. Monograph Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS
It was recommended for publication by the decision No. 2 of the Institute's Scientific Council dated March 28, 2024.
The monograph was completed as an individual work plan in 2022-2023 by S. Sharifova, senior researcher of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS.
The reviewers of the monograph, the 51st edition of the "Artist's scientific passport series", are the head of the department of Turkish peoples' literature of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature, doctor of philological sciences, professor Mammad Aliyev, the head of the department of press history and publicism of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature, doctor of philological sciences, professor Vugar Ahmed and Mushfiq Chobanov, PhD in philology, editor-in-chief of "Ziya" newspaper of Azerbaijan Technical University.
The monograph clarifies the main reasons why Leyla Aliyeva's poems were translated from Russian to Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian, Belarusian and Ukrainian, as well as Eastern and Western languages. Composing songs to poems in world languages ​​is studied. The sources of Leyla Aliyeva's poetry are reviewed. The topic variety and variety of the poet's poetic examples are clarified. The problematic of Leyla Aliyeva's artistic creativity is widely reflected.In the monograph, it is not overlooked that the poetess refers to the syllabic weight, free form of poetry, as well as to the elegy formed in European literature in her work. Leyla Aliyeva's poetry contains artistic images of native people, the author "I", glorification of the lyrical hero, as well as her poetic view of women's images and the world of babies, etc. its reflection is interesting as a scientific innovation of monographic research. In the monograph, the characteristics of the artistic language and descriptive tools of Leyla Aliyeva's poetic examples are reviewed, the rhetorical questions she uses, her monologue, symbols, epithets and allusions, artistic contrasts, metaphors, synonyms, address, etc. The refinement of the points is also not overlooked. The translation problems arising in the process of translating Leyla Aliyeva's poetry into the Azerbaijani language are considered. It is also interesting to clarify the fact that the changes that took place as a result of translation are reflected in the problematics and weights of artistic examples.
