The Scientific Council of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences met for the first time in 2024. Academician Teymur Karimli, academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva, corresponding member of ANAS Ertegin Salamzadeh, members of the scientific council, directors of several departments at the Institute, doctorate students, and dissertation students attended the conference. Academician Isa Habibbayli, president of ANAS, opened the academic council.
Academician Isa Habibbeyli noted on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated December 25, 2023 declaring 2024 as the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World" and the tasks ahead, as well as the Decree dated December 30, 2023 "On the Celebration of the 140th Anniversary of Muhammad Amin Rasulzadeh" and the tasks ahead and discussed the work to be done.Ataami Mirzayev, a doctor of philological studies, spoke about the 530th anniversary of the renowned Azerbaijani poet Muhammad Fuzuli and discussed upcoming releases.
At the scientific council, "On the celebration of the 240th anniversary of the satirist poet Gasim Bey Zakir" , "On the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the poet Ali Tude" , "On the celebration of the 115th anniversary of the literary scholar Hamid Arasli" , "On the celebration of the 160th anniversary of the public figure Ali Bey Huseynzade about" a number of other topics were addressed.
Aygün Bagırli, a PhD in Philology, associate professor informed on the approval of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature's comprehensive plan of scientific research work for 2024, as well as the discussion and approval of the Scientific Council's work plan for 2024. He also discussed and approved the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature's "Plan of Events" for 2024.
The head of the Education Department, associate professor Gunay Garayeva, Ph.D. in Philology spoke at the scientific council on "the passing of attestation of doctoral students and doctoral students in science and doctoral training" and "the approval of the individual work plans of the institute's doctoral students and doctoral students for 2024."
