A nationwide scientific conference on "Reading culture and reader satisfaction" was conducted under the auspices of Baku State University's Faculty of Information and Document Management to commemorate the 85th anniversary of People's Writer Anar.
The president of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Academician Isa Habibbayli, commented about Anar's creativity, the diverse directions in his prose, and the picture system of his works: "Anar's creativity is a magnificent monument of Azerbaijaniism." I like his ability to bring fresh vitality to ancient writings. Anar instructor returns to and expands the themes of his past writings."
The chairman of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union, people's writer Anar, spoke about the historical victory we achieved under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev: "I consider myself very happy that I witnessed the beautiful days of our country, that I was able to see the freedom of Karabakh, our Shusha".
