ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi held a meeting with Turkish intellectuals. Among the intellectuals from Turkey, Hayrettin Ivgin, Mustafa Özcivan, Ayhan Masutbeyoğlu, Ali Yaman, Mehmet Çeribaş, Kenan Koç, Mehmet Yardımçı, along with Elchin İsgenderzadeh Doctor of Technical and Philological sciences, editor-in-chief of "Shafaq" journal, poet Kardash Alişoğlu, Professor Vügar Ahmed were also attended the meeting.
Welcoming the guests, ANAS President, Academician Habibbeyli spoke on the history of Azerbaijan-Turkey relations and reminded that these relations developed further during the years of independence. In this direction, he spoke about the services of the great leader Heydar Aliyev. He emphasized that the relations between the two brotherly countries are rapidly developing and reaching a new stage on the foundations laid by the National Leader.
"Azerbaijan is developing rapidly and is experiencing a renaissance period in the truest sense of the word.
Heydar Aliyev days have started these days and we are celebrating. We are with Turkey in all cases. Great leader Heydar Aliyev laid the foundation for this. This year is the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey. This is a holiday for Azerbaijan. I think that countries with leaders like Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan only have a green light.Hayrettin Ivgin is a reliable bridge in the development of science and culture in the Turkish world. It is very precious for us that you come here under his leadership. He has made hundreds of reliable friends to Turkey," academician Isa Habibbayli said, expressing his belief that unshakable relations will last forever.
Hayrettin Ivgin spoke and said that they were satisfied with their visit to Azerbaijan. Congratulating Vugar Ahmad on his 60th anniversary, he presented him with the "Certificate of Honorable Life" of the President of the World Speech Academy. At the same time, academician Isa presented to Habibbeyli the "Certificate of Academic Board Membership" .
At the meeting, the guests from Turkey and the Director of the Scientific-Research Aerospace Institute of the National Aerospace Agency of the Ministry of Defense Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Professor Elchin Iskenderzade, spoke and emphasized the great contribution of scientists in the development of relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
