(About Z.I. Aliyeva's e-book "Turkey's literary environment and the creativity of the people's writer Anar")
Anar's multifaceted work, which has an exceptional place and role in the development of Azerbaijani literature and culture of the 20th century, has always been in the spotlight. The rather boundless influence of Anar's signature, the area of his fame and talent make it necessary to study his work in a wider circle - not only in Azerbaijan, but throughout the Turkic world. The barriers have already been removed, the shadows have been eliminated, and the question of the significance of our national intelligentsia among Turkey has entered the field of interest of literary critics. This is not only a mission designed to reveal the value attached to the writer, but also, in a broader sense, a symbolic image of Azerbaijani literature, seen from the literary environment of Turkey. From this point of view, the current work of Zakira Imamverdi gizy Aliyeva “The Literary Environment of Turkey and the Creativity of Anar” is a necessary step in researching and presenting to the scientific community the main part of the multifaceted activity of the outstanding writer-playwright, director and screenwriter, literary critic and publicist Anar Rzayev.
Anar's work includes all directions of the nation's path, processes of national self-consciousness, factors that serve the formation of the nation, currents, the fate of thinkers, texts that carry codes of ideological struggle. In this regard, Zakira Aliyeva has a very big mission. She was able to present both her personal scientific and theoretical potential as a researcher and the mission undertaken by him in many respects with the level of development of those fundamental topics that she touches on in her book.
Chapter I of the book is called "Azerbaijani-Turkish Literary Relations and Anar". The author spoke about the difficulties of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey since the 1920s, and stressed that, despite the efforts of the intelligentsia of both countries, mutual meetings and communication are not without difficulties. The critic, who wrote that all the walls between the two countries disappeared only after we gained national independence in 1991, cited the attitude of intellectuals such as Nazim Hikmat, Bakhtiyar Vahabzade and Anar as the basis for this communication and closeness. Stating the direct role of the intelligentsia and writers in building a spiritual bridge between the Turkic world, the researcher rightly involved Anar in the analysis at a common genetic level with such world-famous authors as Chingiz Aitmatov and Olyas Suleimenov, and not only around Turkey, but throughout the Turkic world. The relationship between Anar and Nazim Hikmet, the activities of representing Turkism in the Gobustan magazine, published between 1969 and 2004 under the direction of the writer, as well as the conflicting opinions of the Turkish writer Yusif Gedikli about Anar - these are the questions that arise. in this chapter, each in his own place and at his own moment managed to clarify questions with the skill of a researcher.
In the second chapter, entitled "Anar's Creativity in Turkish Literary Studies", the subject of research is the position, weight and analysis of Anar's works in the Turkish literary press, and this chapter helps the scholar to see his own image, the power of his pen and his analytical competence. The author does not hesitate to enter into polemics with the authors of the study in his analysis, and he does this, relying on the experience of our domestic literary criticism and our scientific and theoretical arsenal, benefiting from them. Sometimes there are polemics with representatives of our national literary criticism, and this is quite natural. Because the main question in my interpretation of the work here is to proceed from objective scientific laws, and where these laws are violated, the light of the lens is directed there. Zakira Aliyeva does not agree with a number of opinions expressed in studies on Anar's work in Turkish literature. In protest to Firat Kyzyltug, the inability of Beysel Shahin to reveal the artistic and social value of the humanistic mission in Anar's work, Hele Kaplan's expression "barmaid" in relation to Takhmina, Aisha Atay's analysis of the story "Longing for Bayram", the researcher expresses his conclusions, thereby demonstrating his position as a thinking, witty scientist.
The author's book can be considered one of the valuable sources for our literary historiography. With the ability to create a scientific and methodological example of the approach to the literary heritage, the literary period, to challenge fundamental disputes and to summarize all possible facts in the approach to the period as a history of individuals or processes and situations. On the example of Anar's works, the author also gives an example of achieving the unity of times and preventing a break in communication. The book reveals the exclusivity, aesthetic weight that Anar acquired in the literary environment of Turkey, his personality in this environment.
