First Vice-President of ANAS, Director of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi, Academician Isa Habibbayli took part in the international scientific-practical online conference "Educational movement among the Turkic peoples and Abay's creativity".
The conference, which was attended by scientists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, was opened by the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Academician Makzum Salahov.
In his speech at the conference, Academician Isa Habibbayli spoke about the unique place of Abay Kunanbayev in the literature of the Turkic peoples. He said that Abay is the author of the great ideals of the Kazakh people. If Dada-Gorgud is for the whole Turkic world, Abay is for Kazakhstan.
The academician also spoke about the promotion and research of Abay's work in Azerbaijan.
