In ancient times, Karabakh was a part of Caucasian Albania, the ancient state of Azerbaijan, composed mainly of Turks and Caucasian tribes. Material culture samples and numismatic evidence discovered during archaeological research in Khankendi, Aghdara, Khojavand, Shusha, Barda, Tartar, Aghdam, Aghjabedi, Fuzuli, Beylagan, Lachin and Kalbajar of Duzen Karabakh in Upper Karabakh and numismatic evidences reveal the ancient material culture, ethno-cultural situation, population of Karabakh. it comprehensively reflects the socio-economic level, household conditions, and in general, the economic, social and cultural history of this region of Azerbaijan.

After the adoption of Christianity in Albania in the early Middle Ages (IV century), buildings in the type of Christian architecture and architectural style characteristic of the building culture of the IV-VII centuries - Albanian Christian religious monuments - were created in the territory of Karabakh, which is the historical land of Azerbaijan.

Most of the monuments of the Caucasian Albania period in Azerbaijan have preserved their original form and reached our time. Among these monuments are Khudaveng temple complex (XIII century) in Kalbajar region, Agoghlan temple (IX century) in Kosalar village, Lachin region, Amaras monastery (IV century) in Sos village, Khojavand region, Saint Elisey temples in Aghdara (IV century), Gandzasar in Veng village of Aghdara region. temple (XIV century), Hagapat temple, Goshaveng temple, Agtala temple, Tatev temple, Uzunlar temple, Yeniveng temple, Sanain temple in the territory of Western Azerbaijan (currently the territory of the Republic of Armenia) are the most beautiful examples of Albanian temple architecture that have reached our time. One such temple is the Besikdag Albanian-Turkish temple in Agdam.

They Armenianized the ancient Albanian-Turkish temple on the top of Besikdag in Shahbulag area of Aghdam region, popularly known as Koroglu Castle... Yes, a fictional legend or a reality dictated by history... Recently I encountered a strange fact. I came across a strange photo in the Besikdag basin of Aghdam region, where I was born and grew up, while watching the space observations made in liberated upper Karabakh on the Internet. In this photo, looking from east to west, the image of the church on the left peak of Besikdag caught my attention. What church was this? After all, there shouldn't be a church here... This monument, which is popularly called "Koroglu Castle", has been in front of our eyes for decades. Wise men would say that this monument has existed here for centuries... In the beginning, that is, in the early times, it was a Zoroastrian temple, and Sonar was an Albanian temple, and during the reign of Panah Khan, it was a guard post... Even after the Shusha-Panahabad fortress was built by Panah Khan in 1752 , until the fall of Ibrahim Khan's Khanate, Shahbulag Castle was always in operation as the Khan's winter residence and Besikdag guard post...

On the northern side of the Beşik mountain, a big kaha with 10-15 people in one tier, near the village of Kangarli, towards Khachincay, was called "Koroğlu kahasi"... From this kaha, there is a ditch through which a person can go inside the Beşik mountain... It is said that this ditch is a passage to a wider kaha. ... In the first kaha, there is a large sleeping place with a sofa structure carved from stone, a hole for collecting natural water, which proves that the kaha was used for a special guard. They say that insidious Armenians drew a sign of the cross on the walls of this kahan...

Now, this monument on Besik Mountain is presented as the "Armenian Church" of the city of Tigrnakert invented by the Armenians, with an Armenian cross on top... Thus, the Armenians reconstructed this monument and made it Armenian...

In order to reveal the essence of such an Armenian conspiracy, I consulted with the experts I know - historian, archaeologist friends, I decided to conduct an exclusive research to reveal the truth, and I am sharing these results with you...

Brief information about Besik Mountain:

The ancient historical monuments of Aghdam, which is considered the heart of Karabakh, have passed through millennia of turbulent years and have come to this day. Archaeological research conducted in the region proves that the territory of Aghdam is one of the settlements of ancient people. It is clear from the archaeological research conducted in the place called Uchoğlantep of Aghdam that the first ancient people lived in the region 6-8 thousand years ago, i.e., in the Eneolithic period (covering the 6th-4th millennium BC, it is called the "copper age" and the end of the stone age - metal is considered the beginning of the century) lived and became familiar with the ancient culture of farming and cattle breeding...

Later, as a result of the historical processes taking place in Azerbaijan, the first state institutions began to be formed. One such state was the slave state of Albania, which arose in Northern Azerbaijan. In new scientific studies, the ethnic name "Alban" is connected with the ancient Turkish word "alp" (brave, valiant). In the book Deda Gorgud, the spelling of this ethnic group as "Alpans" is related to toponyms with the root "alp" in Northern Azerbaijan, as well as those that once belonged to the Albanian state. His stay in South Dagestan and East Georgia strengthens the above possibility...

One of the Albanian rulers, the name of Oroys is compared with the name of Uruz in "Kitabi Deda Gorgud". The name Aran - Agvan - Aquen - Agoglan - Agdam (the word "Agh" at the root of these ethnonyms cannot be considered a coincidence) is also explained by the fact that it is only in Turkic languages. Strabo's information about Albanians worshiping more of the moon goddess corresponds to the "Ay Tengri" of the ancient Turks. Based on dozens of such evidences, those who bear the ethnic name "Albanian" are considered Turkic-speaking. According to some studies, the Sakasens living here, the Massagets and Gargars, who are related to them, were also of Turkish origin...

As a result of recent scientific research, it has been unequivocally proven that the Caucasian Albanians are a Turkic-speaking tribe. It is also assumed that the political consolidation of Albania was already completed in the last years of the Achaemenid Empire and during the invasions of Alexander the Great, and at the end of the 4th century BC, Caucasian Albania became a unified centralized state.

The oldest of these tribes were autochthonous ethnic groups speaking Caucasian and Turkic languages, one of which, the highly cultured Gargars, settled along the Gargar River basin in the Aghdam region. This once again clearly proves that Aghdam played an important role in the first state building in Azerbaijan. There are enough important facts about this in the works of famous historians and researchers, and it is clear from these sources that the Turks were the oldest, aboriginal-aftochthon population of these areas...[1]

What I mean is that the presence and settlement of Armenians in the geographical area of Aghdam is absurd!! Also, the Christian monuments here and in the mountain-steppe area of Karabakh belong to the aboriginal Turkic tribes who accepted Zoroastrianism before Islam, and later Christianity, including the monument on the top of Besik Mountain...

There are many monuments of historical culture and fine art in the territory of Aghdam region. The Uzerlik Tepe monument here, Gutlu Sarı Musa oglu dome (1314) in Khachindarband village of the region, tombs and stone monuments in Kangarli village (XIV century), tombs, mosque in Papravand village (XVIII century), Xanoglu tomb (XVII century), Karabakh Khan Panahali Khan's mansion in Agdam city (XVIII century), tomb of Natavan and his son (XIX century), Shahbulag castle, etc. Such historical and architectural monuments clearly prove this...

One of them, the Albanian-Turkish Besikdag Albanian-Turkish temple, which is located on the top of Beshik mountain, is a Christian temple-monument. According to the sources, this temple was built by Vache II, the ruler of Caucasian Albania from the Arshaki dynasty, in an entirely Albanian architectural style, in an entirely Albanian-Turkish temple architecture...

I would also like to inform you that Armenian historians do the forgery before the Armenians, they armenize our monuments with great forgery, and then the Armenians start their work...

This monument can be seen from the East - from all the heights of Shirvan, Sheki, and from above, Karabakh. Therefore, this monument was first built as a sentry dome, just like the "Chiraggala" in Shabran... It was used as a means of communication with the "Ganjasar" fortress located in the upper mountains (the center of the Khachin principality) and the Shirvan area. has been done. Even during the time when Ibrahim Khan settled in the Shahbulag fortress, this temple-monument was repaired and used as a guard station... According to our assumption, the previous name of this mountain, which is now called Beshikdaği, was Eshik (meaning the last ridge, the one at the very threshold) or Keshik has been a mountain. Later, it got the name Beşik because it resembled a child's nanny-cradle... So, Beshikdag seems to play the role of a natural border between mountainous and plain Karabakh. It is connected to the Kur-Araz lowland from the southeast, and the Karabakh plateau from the west... By the way, let me note that the information given on the Wikipedia pages about the Besikdag temple, which was occupied for 30 years, and the Albanian Christian cemetery located around the bottom of the mountain are quite incorrect and Armenian sourced from...

In other mountain areas of Azerbaijan, all such monuments were first built as guard posts. The expression "Keshikchi Dagu" - its name cannot be considered accidental. For example, the Keshikchidag monument complex, Aveydag, Tatli, Yukhari Eskipara temples, located in Agstafa region, were first guard stations, and later they gave their functions to temples...

I know one thing is important to note! Sometimes they equate a church with a temple, and in our opinion this is fundamentally wrong... The temple is not a church and its architecture is completely different... The temple is a chapel belonging to the Albanian Christian Turks and a monument that was first a guard post built on the top of the Beşik mountain, and later expanded and rebuilt, the Albanian Christian Turkish temple has been... In the Islamic era, the people unequivocally understood some of the monuments of this type as the Koroglu fortress. Such a reconstruction and metamorphosis happened to the Besikdaği monument...

But Armenians did the biggest trick and cruelty. As a result of the military aggression that continued until May 12, 1994, the Armenians managed to occupy 846.7 km², i.e. 77.4% of the total territory of Agdam region. More than 6,000 people from Agdam were martyred in the battles for Karabakh. In November 2010, Nagorno-Karabakh separatists changed the name of Aghdam to Akna in order to Armenianize the region, they changed the ancient Christian-Turkish Albanian graves located on the slope of the mountain northwest of Shahbulak, the fortress built by Panah Khan as an Armenian monument, built a museum, and invented the city of Tigranaghert. ... Besikdag temple was also named Vankasar monastery... Lies, deceit and fraud, look, that's it!!

Let's remember that even until the beginning of the 19th century, the temples located in the Karabakh mountains still functioned as Albanian temples, and after a long period of forgery by Armenians, these monuments were canceled by the Holy Synod of Russia under the influence of the Russian Empire in 1836. , all property and population belonging to the Albanian monastery were subjugated to the Armenian Gregorian Church and Armenianized, all Albanian religious books and manuscripts were destroyed, and temples were churchized...

After that, an uprising began in Karabakh under the leadership of the Albanian Patriarch Israel. The uprising is suppressed, and the Albanian patriarch Israel is expelled from the country. Soon, Patriarch Israel died, and after that, in a letter written to Armenian Archbishop Hovhannes Count Ivan Gudovich, he requested that the Albanian Temples in Karabakh and Ganja be ecclesiastical, and their properties and believers be placed under the control of Echmiadzi, and he succeeded...

Now, this trick has been done to our ancient monument in Besikdag, so that later they will say that these lands belong to Armenians...

With these remarks, I want to state that our ancient monuments in Besikdag, Agdam, as well as all the ancient temples in Karabakh that were exposed to Armenian intrigues, should be restored to their original state, historical reality should be restored... Yes, all the historical temples located in Karabakh are among the rare monuments of the Caucasian Albania period. Forgeries should be prevented, monuments should be restored to their original state. Attempts to falsify historical monuments and make them one's own - Armenianization must be stopped once and for all, we must eat our historical heritage!!
